RST and The Blue Order Echo Rangers' Villareal Concerns

The RST and The Blue Order would like to urge ALL Rangers supporters with tickets attending the match in Villarreal next week to be in the stadium at least an hour prior to kick off.

By doing so we believe this can help encourage more noise and colour to be displayed for the vital second leg tie, while more importantly aiding fan safety and avoiding crushing.

After the poor organisation that our support have had to suffer on European soil over the last few years, we feel the fans need to be aware of the dangers that could follow if, as might happen, many turn up ticketless and try to gain entry.

As such, we urge all bears to attend the game with the safety of all fellow fans foremost in their minds. It is a massive night for the club and the support, more than ever, must play our part in making sure we hit the headlines for all the right reasons. Hopefully then every bear who attends the match can return home as safely and peacefully as possible while representing the colours that they wear with pride and passion.

The Trust and TBO also echo Rangers FC's appeal for fans without tickets NOT to travel to Villareal. The infrastructure is poor, genuine tickets have sold out and there will be no provision for fans without tickets. Ergo, we agree that fans without tickets would be better served watching the game in the comfort of their nearby resorts.

RST Dinner: 'Hall of Fame' Guest Speaker Added to Evening

The RST are delighted to announce a 4th guest speaker to our line-up for the evening.

'Hall of Fame' legend Davy Wilson joins Gordon Smith, Craig Brown and comedian Frank Robb on the speakers list. More info about the evening can be found here.

RST Annual Dinner a Resounding Success

The Trust would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended our fundraising dinner of March 11th.

Oran Mor proved to be a superb venue with great food and service. In addition, the speakers and comedian were all excellent and both the raffle and auction were great fun.

All in all, we managed to raise a great amount of money - not only for the Trust - but for the 3 different charities who will also benefit from the evening.
