It would do no harm, however, if other members e-mailed UEFA (info@uefa.com) just to ask them what their plans are to recognise this magnificent achievement? 19 March 2004 Whilst there were
a whole range of issues discussed, the
three main ones were Finance, Representation
and Media, and the Club were keen to
hear our suggestions in this regard,
as well as explaining their own current
thinking. Whilst no firm conclusions
were reached, the Club did ask us to
provide further written details on a
couple of specific proposals, which
they are now actively considering. The
Hon Chairman was very reassuring and
receptive, and although certain aspects
of the meeting must regrettably remain
confidential as further meetings are
envisaged, we are pleased that the lines
of dialogue are now open. 15 March 2004 Unfortunately due to logistical reasons the upcoming Rangers Fashion Show, due to take place at the Carling Academy in Glasgow this Thursday 18th March, has been cancelled. Rangers’ Retail Dept has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause supporters. 11 March 2004 Following the last appearance on Jim Spence's Fans Forum three months ago, we have been invited back to appear on Sportscene before the SPL match against Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday 20 March. The interviews are likely to be broadcast live around 12-40pm, but watch this space for further details once these are finalised. 11 March 2004 As our renewal date is fast approaching, we would advise that all applications received after Monday 15 March will be processed on the 6th April, this to save a duplicate payment having to be made. 11 March 2004 Following in-depth discussions with the Financial Services Authority, and the ongoing regulatory problems with launching our share save scheme, we have taken the unfortunate decision of withdrawing the share save plan in its current format. In addition, there was a considerable administration burden of operating the scheme, which would have been difficult, given that the Trust is formed on a voluntary basis. We very much regret this decision that has been taken and will endeavour to seek an alternative scheme. 10 March 2004 We are pleased to confirm that a formal meeting has taken place, which was constructive for all concerned. We are not in a position to make any formal statement at this time, but the three Trust Board members present were able to select and discuss openly some of our most pressing concerns. We do believe that the meeting will result in further positive dialogue, which we shall be happy to announce to members when we are in a position to do so. 04 March 2004 As the annual renewal date approaches (5th April), can all RST members please ensure that the membership secretary is in possession of accurate personal details (e-mail address and home address). Any recent changes should be notified to iain@rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk immediately. Thanks. |
